Triple Discount Calculator

During sales or special promotions, multiple discounts can be stacked one after another, which makes it complicated to calculate the final price. The Triple Discount Calculator simplifies this process by letting you enter three discount percentages and instantly calculating the final price and total savings.

Formula

To calculate the final price after three discounts:

  1. Apply the first discount:
    Final Price after 1st discount = Original Price × (1 – First Discount % / 100)
  2. Apply the second discount on the new price:
    Final Price after 2nd discount = Price after 1st discount × (1 – Second Discount % / 100)
  3. Apply the third discount on the new price:
    Final Price after 3rd discount = Price after 2nd discount × (1 – Third Discount % / 100)
  4. Total discount amount = Original Price – Final Price after 3rd discount
  5. Total discount percentage = (Total discount amount ÷ Original Price) × 100

How to Use the Triple Discount Calculator

  1. Enter the original price of the product.
  2. Enter the first discount percentage.
  3. Enter the second discount percentage (optional).
  4. Enter the third discount percentage (optional).
  5. Click Calculate.

The calculator will display the final price after all discounts, total amount saved, and total discount percentage.

Example

For an item priced $300 with discounts of 20%, 10%, and 5%:

  • After 1st discount: 300 × 0.80 = $240
  • After 2nd discount: 240 × 0.90 = $216
  • After 3rd discount: 216 × 0.95 = $205.20
  • Total discount amount: 300 – 205.20 = $94.80
  • Total discount percentage: (94.80 ÷ 300) × 100 = 31.6%
